In a sleek black design with touch-sensitive buttons, the smooth surface is super-simple to clean – just a quick dip in warm soapy water and any sticky marks and grease will wipe away. So we’re sure you’ll be as thrilled as we are to add this ultra-practical, super-smart, slimline weighing scale to your baking cupboard. In technical terms, Salter’s waterproof kitchen scale is IPX7 rated, which means it can be immersed in water up to 1m deep for up to 30 minutes – we’ve never seen a kitchen sink that deep but it’s nice to have that reassurance!

Easy-Read Digital Display

Switch from metric to imperial measures to suit your recipe, so you can cook from a modern recipe or from your granny’s notebook with equal ease, and the large, easy-to-read digital display is always nice and clear.

Add and Weigh Functions

At any point, you can press the ‘Tare’ button to zero the display, making it easy to use any variety of mixing bowl and to add the next ingredient without any need for mental maths or the risk of a muddle.

Aquatronic Function

For adding liquids, just switch the units to ml or fl oz and let Salter’s technology work its magic – it can cope with any water-based liquids, measuring milk, stock, cream, wine and more…

Pre-fitted with 3 x AAA batteries – the scale is accompanied by a bespoke screwdriver to ensure that you can get into the waterproof battery chamber when they do, eventually, need to be changed.
