Adjustable ceramic grinding mechanism

Each mill has a high quality ceramic mechanism that will never rust, and it’s really easy to adjust the grind from coarse to fine – just turn the adjuster on the base clockwise for fine or anti-clockwise for coarse to suit your requirements.

Built-in light

Salter’s design team have cleverly incorporated a small LED light that comes on when you press the button to grind, so you can see instantly just how much salt or pepper has been ground. So, whether you’re seasoning a dish or adding a touch of flavour to a breakfast egg, you can be sure you’ve got the seasoning exactly right.

Clear acrylic spice chamber

In the midst of the stainless steel column, the clear acrylic chamber makes it really easy to see when it’s time to refill each mill and if the mills are on your dining table, guests can identify at once which mill is which and what variety of pepper you’re using.

Stay fresh base caps

The perfect finishing touch, each of the mills comes with a base cap, so you can be sure that the contents of the mill are being kept as fresh as possible in between uses. And there’s an additional benefit, in that any dusty residue from the grinding mechanism will be kept neatly inside the cap.
