Sometimes referred to as a bride’s knife, this 35cm Serrated Cake Knife from the baking experts at PME can cut effectively through really wide sponge cakes without tearing holes, thanks to its shallow serrations. For huge celebration cakes, it’s even better than a cake wire, and works perfectly in tandem with a turntable as you can spin the cake gently as you slice. Great for carving a ‘sculpted’ cake into the shape you need, it’s also ideal for slicing, levelling or layering large traybakes into evenly sized portions if you’re catering for a big party.

Brilliant for portioning up any large celebration cake – hence its nickname – the serrations on the high quality stainless steel blade will cut through dense fruit cakes with ease too.
