Absorbs water quickly

The ‘magic’ ingredient in the Drying Stone is diatomite, a highly porous natural material that quickly absorbs any liquid that comes into contact with it. Once absorbed, the water rapidly evaporates from the stone, so its surface stays dry to the touch rather than getting waterlogged. The speed at which it ‘sucks’ water up also helps to eliminate any germs and bacteria left on your dishes, and stops moisture leaking out over your work surfaces.

Easy to clean

The removable non-slip plastic base keeps the Drying Stone firmly in place and comes away easily when it’s time to clean your Drying Stone – just press down on the part of the stone that’s visible through the ‘push to remove’ window on the base. The Drying Stone can then be either washed by hand or popped in the dishwasher for easy cleaning, before being placed outside in the sun to help it dry.
