To help us all reduce our reliance on single-use plastic bags, cling film and aluminium foil, Lékué have created this Reusable Silicone Sandwich Case. Perfectly sized to hold a deep-filled sandwich, it takes up very little room in a cupboard or drawer in between picnics or lunch box prep.

Eco-friendly alternative to single-use food wraps

If you’re looking to reduce your reliance on use-once-and-throw-away sandwich wrappers, this is a fantastic place to start. You can use it over and over and over again, rather than just once and binning it. And it’s thicker than a thin layer or plastic or foil, so it helps keep your sandwiches in better shape too.

Easy to open and close

Allowing plenty of room inside for a deep-filled bun, butty or sandwich, the stretchy cover rolls over the top of your carefully constructed sarnie and, when it’s time to tuck in, the tab at the corner lets you peel back the lid of your sandwich box with ease – a bit like opening a sardine tin, but far less trouble! The soft silicone lid stretches over the side panels to keep flavours and aromas inside (and moisture out – well, it does rain a fair bit in the UK…).

Write-on/wipe-off panel

Write the name of the lucky sandwich eater on the panel – or remind yourself what’s in the filling. When the contents have been devoured, the writing can be wiped away with a damp cloth.

Easy to clean

As the case is made from silicone it’s really easy to get it clean. A swift swoosh in the sink will do the trick, but if you’re running a load through the dishwasher, just add your sandwich case to the top tray and let the machine do the work for you.

Made from 100% platinum silicone and polypropylene, it’s naturally free from BPA.
