Brilliant for anyone with a limited grip or stiff joints, the long handle of the Jar Gripper uses leverage to open troublesome lids and bottletops. Unlike some jar openers, it doesn’t require a hard-to-hold pincer action to get a grip on the lids of problematic bottles and jars – just twist the knob on top to fasten the trio of rubber grips around the lid in question and then push or turn the long lever handle.

Instructions for use:

• Widen the ‘jaws’ of the opener by turning the knob anti-clockwise
• Place the opener over the lid and turn the knob clockwise until the grips lock onto the lid
• Hold the jar with one hand and firmly push/turn the opener’s handle anti-clockwise until the jar opens (always remember left is loose and right is tight!)
