Prancing prettily across the top of a birthday cake, the splendidly maned subject of Katy Sue Designs’ Unicorn Silicone Icing Mould is so fantastically detailed, it will be the closest you’ll ever get to the real thing (and yes, we know they’re not real, we just wish they were…)

With one main mould and five separate little ones so you can add extra flowers and leaves to your unicorns’ marvellous manes, all the lovely detail comes out embossed, so it’s easy to paint with food colouring or dust with lustre to give it a really multi-coloured, magical feel.

Easy to use

Designed for use with firm fondant, modelling paste and marzipan, this silicone mould is a super-simple way to create fantastic cake decorations with very little effort and no specialist or artistic skills. And although the results might be impressively intricate, they’re really easy to achieve. Just dust the mould lightly with cornflour before you begin, then push your paste into place, being careful not to overfill the mould. Once you’ve scraped away any excess, press on the back of the mould and flex to release perfectly shaped designs with incredibly defined detail.

Ideal for modelling paste, chocolate and more

Because it’s made from heat-resistant silicone, this icing mould can also be used with melted chocolate, toffee or sugar – just wait for them to set hard before turning them out.

Releases easily for perfectly preserved detail

Super-flexible and non-stick, it will release its contents easily, giving you wonderful definition with all the different, delicate details perfectly preserved.
